If you enjoy the thrill of finding something you weren’t expecting, Fall Carlisle is the place to be September 30-October 4.  That’s the when, but the where…the massive Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, welcomes not only vendors from across the country, but tens of thousands of guests from around the world.  Together, they power an event that’s equal parts automotive treasure hunt and social gathering.  This is five days of buying, selling, browsing and enjoying the hobby with old friends, while making some new ones along the way.

At the heart of the experience is the automotive flea market, where 8,100 vendor spaces create endless opportunities to search for that missing part, track down a hard-to-find collectible, find tools and garage items, or simply wander the grounds to see what turns up.  When meandering at Fall Carlisle, you never quite know what you’ll discover from one vendor space to another.  In fact, the experience goes beyond car parts.  There’s Shop Art, Anymotive vending, goodies for the kids and more.  There really is something for everyone!

For those looking to add a vehicle to the garage, the car corral provides another avenue to shop.  Hundreds of vehicles are offered for sale by their owners, ranging from project vehicles and affordable drivers to restored classics and everything in between.  Add in the vehicles being offered through Carlisle Auctions and Fall Carlisle creates an impressive concentration of cars for sale throughout the week. 

Then there’s the Fall Carlisle Collector Car Auction, taking place October 1-2 at the Carlisle Expo Center.  More than 400 collector vehicles are expected to cross the block, offering bidders the opportunity to compete for everything from well-preserved classics and customs to unique automotive history.  Auction preview begins September 30 at 8 AM, with bidding starting at 10 AM Thursday and Friday.

The 2026 auction lineup includes several opportunities to watch for, including All Truck Hour on Thursday, October 1, and a 1950 & Older-themed hour Friday, October 2, at approximately 3 PM.  Charity consignments will also be part of the auction, adding an opportunity to combine the excitement of buying a collector vehicle with supporting worthwhile causes.  Beyond that, THE 1965 red, white, and blue Corvette from Austin Powers 2, the Spy Who Shagged Me will cross the block at approximately 4 PM on Friday the 2^nd.  With in-person, phone and online bidding available, participating is easier than ever.

Cars aren’t just for sale, they are on display too. Within Building T of the fairgrounds, a gallery of show cars will serve as the backdrop for vendors who are set up indoors.  Cars come by way of the AACA Museum, Inc. and friends of the museum.  This is a can’t miss display of some of the best rides spanning the history of automotive production.

The numbers tell part of the story, but the atmosphere at Corvettes at Carlisle 2026 tells the rest.  The annual celebration of America's Sports Car returned to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds August 27-29 and, once again, Corvette enthusiasts answered the call in record-setting fashion.  The 2026 event welcomed 3,239 registered Fun Field Corvettes, establishing a new event record and surpassing the previous mark of 3,080 vehicles set in 2023.   This total also makes this iteration of the show the 8^th largest car specific event EVER held at Carlisle dating back to when car shows started in 1982 (does not factor in Spring or Fall Carlisle).

That record-setting total was just one highlight of a weekend filled with special displays, competitions, celebrations and opportunities to appreciate the Corvette in virtually every form.  From early-generation classics to the latest C8 offerings, thousands of Corvettes filled the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and surrounding community, creating the unmistakable sights and sounds that have become synonymous with Corvettes at Carlisle. 

Team Chevrolet also helped set the tone, with a great display of cars on the Midway and some very informative walk-arounds at the stage.  Speaking of walk-arounds, Pete Callaway of Callaway Cars also gave some time to talk about 50 years of Callaway and 40 years of their products being part of the Corvette.  Other seminar/educational gatherings included those hosted by Corvette specialist Paul Koerner and his Corvette Mechanic team, plus Steve Garrett and his Corvette Today podcast.

Among the featured displays was the Corvette American Flag, a patriotic showcase and nod to America 250 that brought Corvettes together in a visual celebration of the car, its owners and the country it represents.  The event also celebrated 50 Years of 1976 Corvettes, putting a spotlight on the unique history and styling of the 1976 model year.

Chip's Choice, always one of the most anticipated displays of the weekend, followed a family bond theme, showcasing Corvettes whose stories extend beyond the cars themselves and into the families and generations connected to them.  The NCRS Gallery and NCCC Judged Concours added additional opportunities for enthusiasts to see some of the finest and most meticulously presented Corvettes in the hobby.  In addition, there was a great Grand Sport display that showcased many fine examples, including two of the five from 1963; Chassis 001 and 004, plus 001 from 1996 and a modern era 2027.  This $40 million+ showcase was a real head-turner. 

The weekend also included a special and emotional tribute marking the 25th anniversary of 9/11.  On Friday of event weekend, retired FBI Agent and 9/11 survivor Wes Wong shared his personal story and reflections with the Corvettes at Carlisle crowd.  His moving presentation provided an important reminder of the courage, sacrifice and resilience demonstrated by first responders and Americans in the aftermath of September 11, 2001.  The audience offered Wes a much deserved standing ovation at the end.

Of course, competition remained a major part of the Corvettes at Carlisle experience.  From judged displays and Aerolarri Wheels People's Choice honors to performance-based competitions, Corvette owners had plenty of opportunities to put their cars and driving skills to the test.  King of the X, presented by Lingenfelter Performance, again brought Corvettes to the autocross course, while additional contests and club competitions added to the weekend's competitive spirit.  All-new this year, the Mr. Corvette contest presented by Appalachian Running Company and Twin Package showcase allowed owners to have some fun at the stage, both those who dress the part and embrace certain Corvette stereotypes and those who dressed to match their beloved Corvette.

Away from the Fun Field, the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation (CMAF) remained an important part of the weekend.  The annual CMAF dinner brought supporters together for an evening dedicated to raising awareness and funds in honor of Carlisle Events co-founder Chip Miller and those affected by amyloidosis.  Through the dinner and other fundraising efforts, the Corvette community continued its tradition of giving back by raising $35,000+, all of which benefits research and awareness.

The weekend celebration extended beyond the fairgrounds Saturday evening with the annual Downtown Carlisle Corvette Parade and Street Party.  A procession of 420 Corvettes made its way into downtown Carlisle, where thousands of spectators lined the streets to watch the cars roll through the community.  For many, it offered one final opportunity to see the incredible variety of Corvettes gathered in Carlisle throughout the weekend.

From a record-setting Fun Field to special displays honoring Corvette history, family, patriotism and service, Corvettes at Carlisle 2026 once again demonstrated why this event remains one of the premier Corvette gatherings in the country.  Three days of Corvettes, competition, camaraderie, charity and community made for another memorable chapter in the event's history.

For truck lovers, there are events that serve up what they are looking for – trucks on display, some social fun, diesel smoke…the basics, but then there are events like the Carlisle Truck Nationals at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.  We’re talking off the charts, large-scale…grandiose!  There’s no denying that this show is king amongst its passionate fan base.  In fact, from August 7-9, 2026, 3,017 trucks populated the event, making it the LARGEST-ever Carlisle Truck Nationals; a record that’s now been set…or re-set six years in a row.

The 3,017-truck total represented a massive gathering of everything truck, with show vehicles filling the grounds and offering enthusiasts plenty to see, talk about and enjoy throughout the weekend. From custom builds and lifted rides to lowered trucks, classic and antique vehicles, commercial trucks and more, the variety was every bit as impressive as the sheer number of trucks on the grounds.

Adding even more excitement to the weekend was Ram, the official truck of the 2026 Carlisle Truck Nationals.  That partnership was especially evident in the monster truck arena, where Raminator and Ramdemption delivered the big-time action and horsepower fans have come to expect.  Presented by Your Central Pennsylvania Ram Dealers, the monster trucks added another high-energy element to an already action-packed weekend.

The fun extended beyond the trucks themselves, with a wide variety of displays and activities helping make the Carlisle Truck Nationals a destination for enthusiasts and families alike. One of the featured displays this year brought an American Theme to Building T, including antique military trucks, fire trucks, farm trucks, lifted trucks and more. It was a diverse collection of vehicles that perfectly highlighted the decades of truck builds and styles represented throughout the weekend.

Elsewhere on the grounds, the Vanarama gallery under and around the pavilions offered another unique look at the truck hobby, while the Big Rig Show and Shine populated the south side of the showgrounds with an impressive collection of big rigs.

Also returning to the Carlisle Truck Nationals in 2026 was Moto Motion Trials, giving attendees another opportunity to see impressive motorcycle skills and action as part of the weekend's broad entertainment lineup. The trials were just one part of the action, as freestyle FMX riders, Monster Trucks and a variety of wheels-in-motion activities kept showgoers entertained throughout the weekend. High Truck Challenge, Low Truck Limbo, Rolling Burnouts, Rolling Exhaust and Drop and Drag were among the activities that put trucks—and their drivers—to the test.

Of course, the Carlisle Truck Nationals was about much more than simply looking at trucks. Vendors offered parts, accessories, merchandise and more, while truck owners and clubs filled the grounds and connected with fellow enthusiasts. Trucks for sale, specialty displays and the wide variety of vehicles throughout the Fairgrounds made the weekend a true celebration of the truck hobby.

Whether attendees arrived with a truck of their own, came to admire the thousands on display, or simply wanted to experience the sights and sounds of one of Carlisle's biggest automotive weekends, the 2026 Carlisle Truck Nationals delivered a little something for everyone.

And while the 2026 Carlisle Truck Nationals is now in the books, the next chapter is already taking shape. The 2027 Carlisle Truck Nationals is scheduled for August 6–8, 2027, as the event returns to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds for another weekend dedicated to trucks, truck enthusiasts and the people who make this hobby so special.

For one weekend in August, Corvette enthusiasts will have the opportunity to stand in the presence of nearly half of the original Corvette Grand Sport production run.  Corvettes at Carlisle, taking place August 27-29 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, is proud to announce the appearance of two of the five original 1963 Corvette Grand Sports ever built—Chassis #001 and Chassis #004. Together, these legendary machines represent one of the rarest gatherings in Corvette history and serve as the centerpiece of the event's Grand Sport 30th Anniversary Celebration.

Conceived by legendary Corvette Chief Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov, the Grand Sport program was Chevrolet's answer to Carroll Shelby and the Cobra.  Designed as lightweight, purpose-built competition cars, the Grand Sports were intended to challenge the world's best on the track.  However, General Motors' corporate racing ban brought the ambitious program to an abrupt halt before full-scale production could begin.  Only five Grand Sports were completed.

Despite the program's short lifespan, the cars would go on to cement their place in automotive history through victories at Watkins Glen, appearances at Sebring, and memorable performances during Nassau Speed Week.  Today, the original Grand Sports are widely regarded as some of the most important and valuable Corvettes ever built.

Leading the display in Carlisle is Grand Sport Chassis #001, the first Grand Sport ever constructed and arguably the most recognizable of the five.  Secretly preserved by Duntov rather than destroyed following GM's racing ban, #001 became the foundation of the Grand Sport legacy.  Its story includes a transformation into a roadster configuration, competition duty under Roger Penske in the iconic blue-and-yellow Sunoco livery at the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring.  Today, the car resides within the esteemed collection of Harry Yeaggy and has been meticulously restored to its famed Penske/Sunoco appearance.

Joining #001 in Carlisle is Grand Sport Chassis #004, a car whose accomplishments on the track helped define the Grand Sport name.  Although assigned serial number four, #004 became the first Grand Sport to compete, earning the model's inaugural victory when Dr. Dick Thompson drove it to a win at the Glen Classic at Watkins Glen in August 1963.  Following its early success, the car returned to Chevrolet for additional development before joining Mecom Racing, where it played a key role in the team's domination of the 1963 Nassau Speed Week events and later preparation for endurance competition, including the famed 12 Hours of Sebring.  Today, Chassis #004 calls the renowned Revs Institute in Naples, Florida home, making its appearance at Corvettes at Carlisle an exceptionally rare opportunity for enthusiasts. 

But wait…there’s MORE!  While the original 1963 Grand Sports established the name as a symbol of Corvette performance and competition, Chevrolet revived that legendary badge more than three decades later with the introduction of the 1996 Corvette Grand Sport.  Appearing as part of Corvettes at Carlisle’s 30th Anniversary celebration of the 1996 model, Grand Sport #001 represents the beginning of another celebrated chapter in Corvette history.  As the first example produced in Chevrolet’s limited 1996 run of just 1,000 Grand Sport Corvettes, this C4 is among the most significant examples of the modern Grand Sport era.  Finished in the iconic Admiral Blue paint with a wide Arctic White center stripe and signature red fender hash marks, the car was powered by the one-year-only 330-horsepower LT4 engine, making it the ultimate performance version of the final C4 Corvette. 

Beyond its production significance, Grand Sport #001 (1996) played an important role during development as an engineering and validation vehicle before becoming the personal Corvette of legendary Corvette engineer and racer John Heinricy, one of the key figures behind the return of the Grand Sport name.  Today, this historic Corvette represents the continuation of the Grand Sport legacy and joins the original 1963 legends for a rare celebration of Corvette history.

While only two of the original five Grand Sports will appear in addition to 1996’s #001 and a Fun Field filled with other modern Grand Sport examples, enthusiasts continue to celebrate the legacy of this amazing build.  In fact, as part of Team Chevrolet’s visit, they’ll have on hand, their all-new Grand Sport and Grand Sport X.  Each will be showcased within their tent on the Manufacturers Midway. 

How much of a big deal are these Grand Sports, especially the two from 1963? During the weekend of August 13-15, just two weeks before Corvettes at Carlisle, Grand Sport Chassis #003 is slated to cross the auction block with RM Sotheby's carrying a pre-sale estimate of more than $10 million.  In fact, #003's sales sheet promotes it as rarer than BOTH the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe and Ferrari 250 GTO. That's a pretty big deal!
