iPads Up for Grabs

Carlisle Events to Award an iPad Per Show in 2012

The automotive world is as much about fine craftsmanship and engineering as it is modern electronics. In 2012, as part of all 10 Carlisle-based events, the latest in computer technology will be up for grabs as one of Apple’s hottest products, the iPad, will be given away.


Carlisle Events recognizes the need that today’s technology plays with today’s technician. Because of that, the iPads will serve as a great accessory for travel, shop work, web browsing, gaming or whatever its would-be owner wants to do with it. Over the course of the year, beginning with Spring Carlisle (April 25-29) and concluding with Fall Carlisle (October 3-7) a total of 10 Apple iPads will be handed out. One lucky winner will be randomly selected to receive an iPad in conjunction with each event at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, with each winner being selected from a pool of names specific to each event.


“My wife won an iPad during a charity event and it was like she won a car,” noted Carlisle Events co-owner Lance Miller. “I was blown away with how thrilled she was and I realized that many of our guests would feel the same way my wife did when she won.” Miller continued, “We’re excited to offer this neat giveaway and we hope our guests are too. On a side note, the iPad has been claimed by my daughter recently and I must admit I enjoy using it too – who wouldn’t like a powerful tool like this?”


Registration is available online at www.CarlisleEvents.com/giveaways and on site at any number of kiosks located in the new Guest Services building adjacent to the main grandstand. Hopeful winners must register for each event individually to be eligible to win and previous prize winners are eligible. Each winner will be notified on Sunday of an event at approximately 2 p.m. No additional purchase is necessary and attendance is not required to win. Finally, all winners are recognized online as part of the Carlisle Events “winners list.” The iPads given away will be at least an iPad 2 or newer.
