‘72 HURST/OLDS PARADE CAR FROM THE 1972 & 2018 INDY 500
See the Car that Linda Vaughn Rode at Indy

This ‘72 H/O Pace Car and Linda Vaughn will both be inside of the Carlisle Expo Center for the 2018 Hurst Nationals. The car, the platform and the gigantic Hurst shifter will be on display all weekend at the event. The shifter and the platform were actually produced by Hurst in 1966 and were given to the current owner by Jack “Doc” Watson.

One of the highlights of the Indy 500 is always the parade and 2018 was particularly special. After missing the Indy 500 in 2017 due to health issues, Linda Vaughn was back this year and she rode on this very 1972 Hurst/Olds Pace Car. She rode on it during the Indy 500 Parade through downtown Indianapolis and she rode on it at the track before the race. This car was also used at the 1972 Indy 500 so it has quite an impressive history!
