AMERICAN TRUCK HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Showing at Carlisle Truck Nationals

Every truck at Carlisle is special, but some do stand out. The not-for-profit American Truck Historical Society was formed in 1971 to preserve the history of trucks, the trucking industry and its pioneers. We are excited to welcome a regional showing of American Truck Historical Society members at the Carlisle Truck Nationals in 2016.

Look for their trucks in the invitational displays and on the show fields at Carlisle and be sure to talk with their members about trucks and the history of trucks. Like most of us here, we all like to share our passions for trucks.

The ATHS has over 21,000 members in the United States, Australia, Canada and 20 other countries worldwide. Their mission is to collect artifacts, information, photographs, and other relevant materials pertaining to the origin, development, and progress of the motor truck transportation industry; to verify and establish the authenticity and accuracy of the collected information and materials; to place or arrange for placement of all objects, gifts, artifacts, and other items on display for educational purposes that relate historically to the development of the motor truck industry; to serve as a repository for donations, gifts, and bequests.
