A BRIEF REVIEW OF 2017
Amazing Weather, Cool Cars and Great Vendors Power Annual Weekend

FINALLY – some awesome weather for Fall Carlisle. The 44th offering of the event that started it all brought guests from around the world and for five days, the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds itself became one of the largest cities in Pennsylvania. From sun up on September 27 through final load out on the first day of October, there were transactions at every turn, great deals, awesome bargains, cool displays and more. Highlights included the North Side Collectors Corner and the stage where personal collections, barn finds and survivors were showcased. Cars were selling left and right within the car corral and the vendors were happy with the merchandise that was selling too. Another great feature was the vendor appreciation dinner that took place Saturday evening and featured BBQ, crabs and drinks.

Further highlights included the first-ever three day auction backed by Carlisle Auctions. For Fall 2017, the Carlisle Auctions team saw a 60% sell through rate which yielded $5.5 million in sales. The top selling car was a 2006 Ford GT, moving for just under $296,390; an all-time record for Carlisle Auctions.

Though Fall Carlisle is a wrap, the event returns in 2018 during the weekend of October 3-7. In the meanwhile, Spring Carlisle opens the Carlisle based season, running April 18-22, 2018.
